Dear Music Lover,

Your generous support has kept Orchestra Kentucky performing for 20 years. Because of you, the organization today rests on a solid foundation – resilient, committed to serving its community, and through a new and strengthened relationship with the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center, poised for a brighter future. As the founding Music Director, I am thankful to you for making Orchestra Kentucky what it is today – and all it will be over the next 20 years.

Not surprisingly, COVID restrictions require us to pause our concert activities in December and into 2021. While the pause certainly impacts us financially, we can weather this because of your support. We are encouraged that the availability of vaccines will likely allow the resumption of concerts no later than this coming spring. Soon we will safely gather together on the stage and in the seats of SKyPAC, our region’s premier venue for arts and entertainment.

Rest assured, that subscribers like you will receive the full value of your subscription and you will be the very first to enjoy concerts once they resume. There are several options available to you.

The value of any concerts missed this season will be deferred to the exciting, soon-to-be-announced 2021-22 season. Your subscription renewal will reflect the difference in price after the value of any missed concerts this season has been credited.

Or you may continue to keep Orchestra Kentucky secure by donating the value of your tickets to any missed concerts as a tax-deductible contribution (and your gift is particularly meaningful in these times). You may also request a refund. Many have been struggling financially during this time and Orchestra Kentucky is here to help. Please    e-mail us by January 15th at or call 270-904-5000 to let us know your preference.

Soon we will enjoy concerts together again. Until then, stay safe and healthy and thank you for all that you do.
