CHAMBER PLAYERS

The Bowling Green Chamber Players is a suborganization of Orchestra Kentucky. Principal players of the orchestra comprise the group that performs by request for various types of events, such as organization breakfasts, banquets, celebrations, weddings, parties, and educational outreach programs. Instrumentation of the ensemble varies according to the nature and scope of the event and availability of the musicians. The following are examples of the possibilities: string quartet; flute and piano; flute, piano and drums; flute, piano, bass and drums; flute, oboe, violin and piano/harpsichord; and flute, violin, viola, bassoon and piano/harpsichord. Musical styles range from eighteenth-century classical works to Gershwin and Broadway musicals. Fees for booking the Chamber Players vary according to the length of time of the event, its location, and the number of musicians.
